In September, 2025, the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project team ”The Climate Emotion Toolkit” (ClEmTo) was held in Malmö, Sweden. Representatives of all three partner organizations took part: Hållbar Utveckling Skåne (Sweden), and PRONI Centar za socijalno podučavanje (Croatia), Prijatelji dece Srbije (Serbia).
The project will run for almost three years and aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity in Sweden, Croatia, and Serbia to recognize, understand, and address climate-related emotions among themselves and their students. By developing a practical toolkit, providing training, and fostering cross-border collaboration, the project will help schools support young people in turning climate anxiety into resilience, active citizenship, and meaningful climate action.
The Malmö meeting marked the official start of this cooperation, setting the framework for upcoming activities, from toolkit development and pilot testing to teacher workshops and dissemination across partner countries.
The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
